After a week full of action, the following week was peaceful with some walks. The photo was part of the sky after the sunset. Yet another abstract theme.

fifty2:thirtyone – Action
The week was full of action for me and this photo describes that well. It was taken at this years GT Masters at the Nurburgring race track. As always in the first lap, the field is narrow and in the Mercedes-Arena some cars left the track and bumbed some obstacles.

fifty2:thirty – Blood Moon
On 27th of August 2018, a special event happened: a total lunar eclipse, coincided with Mars being nearly as close as possible to Earth, a concurrence that happens once every 25,000 years.
This is a selection of six exposures of a time series, showing the different states on leaving the shadow.

After a full week of photographing and hiking, the motivation and therefore the number of pictures on week 29 was very low.
This is a photo of a sensing device for virtual and augmented reality. Looks bulky but it is an early version but well-working glove.

fifty2:twentyeight – Butterfly or Moth
I still practice macros on all hikes and walks. This one was a fairly good (sharp with correct focus) shot out of the hand.
The question is now about the beauty. A butterfly is associated with nice colours and patterns. A moth is associated with ugliness. What about this cabbage butterfly? Leave your choice in the comments.

fifty2:twentyseven: Alpenglow
I know, I have some delay in the publishing of the fifty2 project. But here we go…
In week 27 I was hiking in the alps. A six day trip always above 2000 meters altitude – 1400 pictures to sort out.
This one is a picture of the Habicht with a nice alpenglow.

fifty2:twentysix – Evanescence
It’s half time! Half of the weeks are over and so the half of the fifty2 project. I’m in a hurry, but I like to write a review later.
Sunset is always a nive scene. I found this drying flowers on a very nice and sunny day. Everything will come to an end. We should always have this in mind. If it looks like this, it is beautiful.

Publishing of photos for the fifty2 project is a little bit delayed. But, I’m taking pictures during my many walks, so I have the luck to choose.
